This Privacy Policy sets forth how we handle information we learn about you when you visit our Web site.

Your privacy is something that PetGuardian takes very seriously. PetGuardian has numerous security measures in place to protect you from the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control, including your credit card information if you choose to conduct an e-commerce transaction on the PetGuardian site. All of your member information, as well as other sensitive areas like your PetGuardian membership account, if you create one, your pet trust application form and the pet trust form that is created by PetGuardian require use of your password. We recommend that you do not share your password with anyone. PetGuardian uses industry-standard tools, such as secure servers and firewalls, to ensure that your information is secure and confidential.
Data Privacy
The only personally identifying information we collect and store about you is that information you choose to provide to us if you create a membership account and / or create a pet trust application form. This personally identifying information is collected to generate the pet trust form created by PetGuardian. Personally identifying information includes but is not limited to first and last name, address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card information, pet information, care giver information and other sensitive information.
We employ the use of “cookies.” “Cookies” are small files of data that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you if you return to the PetGuardian web site using the same computer and browser. We send a “session cookie” to your computer if and when you log in to your PetGuardian membership account. This enables us to recognize you if you visit multiple pages on our web site during the same session so that you will not have to re-enter your password multiple times. Once you log out or close your browser, these session cookies expire and no longer have any effect. We do not share cookie information with anyone.
PetGuardian does not sell, rent or otherwise share personally identifying information with third parties without your consent except in the following instances: (i) unless required by applicable law or pursuant to a court or similar order; or (ii) in the event PetGuardian is required to transfer personally identifying information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, or other transfer or disposition of all or substantially all of the assets of PetGuardian or its affiliated entities (including, without limitation, in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings). In addition, PetGuardian reserves the right to provide your personally identifying information to third parties who provide services on behalf of PetGuardian, provided that such third parties are bound by the PetGuardian Privacy Policy.
